What you see in the image above, is a cake depicted as a black body connected to a WHITE man’s head painted as a black man. As you can see in the picture they drew an enormous mouth on the man’s face as to call him a monster. While the crowd cut the cake, the man screamed as if they were cutting a piece of his body. This extravagant  party was held in Sweden hosted by the Swedish minister paid for by the taxpayers dollars, as well as the cake. It annoys me to see things like this still going on, when are people going to realize that we are ALL human beings black, white, mexican, asian, european, yellow, red, purple color shouldn’t even matter.

This is fucking brilliant.

Today image altering is constantly reoccurring in today’s magazines, television, and Internet sites. Men and women today do not feel acceptable within their own resulting in cropping or photoshopping into what one sees as perfect. For example in the image above viewers clearly see that this woman’s face on the left side Is wider than the image on the right side. This woman seemed to feel her original face wasn’t good enough and as a woman I am offended by that I would like for us as women to embrace our flaws and not try to be someone or something that were not. LET’S GET IT TOGETHER LADIES !!!!

While watching the Good Day Atlanta show the featured guest was retired NFL athlete former Atlanta Falcon Ray “Big Pay Ray” Buchanan. Throughout the show although he was retired was really personable toward the cast and remained humble about his situation. During a segment of the show Buchanan demonstrated his goofy side while crip walking as he made a touchdown.Then later Buchanan changed the gears to a serious note while explaining his mentoring program. Watching Buchanan speak upon his mentoring program and explain his experience growing up in a mentoring program shows his compassion for aspiring student athletes to succeed which touched my heart. Buchanan’s personality to me seems goofy, yet loving and ambitious which makes him indeed dedicated to the sport he loves football.
